Stanhope House Day Nursery - Our Parents' Views

Re visiting Stanhope after 17 years with a second child it is nice to see that the staff’s approach is still at a high standard and the children being stimulated from an early stage and being cared for to a high standard. We have total reassurance of our child being looked after from all the staff safety being a priority. A day to day log of what our child has done during the day. All in all it is total satisfaction from our point of view.

Our daughter Priyani has been with the nursery for almost 2yrs and she loves it – what more can I say.
Right from day one all the staff have been understanding and caring towards Priyani’s needs and they have been a positive influence on her both in terms of social & educational develpment and as parents we couldn’t ask for much more. There is a family environment at the nursery with all the children, staff and parents, who are encouraged to participate in activities as much as possible, Stanhope has a large and safe outdoor play area and they provide healthy food, which is freshly prepared on site. Overall Stanhope Nursery provides an excellent childcare service within a safe, caring and responsive environment and we could not praise the Nursery and its staff highly enough.

We can’t begin to thank you for all the nurturing, affection and confidence you have all shown our dear Katie. We have joyfully watched her grow in confidence from the first day she has been in your care and are grateful for the impact Stanhope has made on Katie. Stanhope is more than just a nursery it is an establishment that enhances the foundation parents start to build for their children. It has been a pleasure to know all of you and we look forward to the coming year as we know the same love affection and impact will be made on Sammie.

I have two children attending the nursery, Reece (4 years old) and Klarissa (15 months old). It is an excellent nursery. All the staff are helpful, well organised and make it easy for your child to settle in. The facilities are excellent and have a wide range of toys and activities. Plus a large play ground and provide good healthy meals. The staff have a lot of care and love for all the children and give them equal attention. I strongly recommend you visit Stanhope before making a decision. You will see for yourself how friendly the staff are and experience how happy the children are and well behaved. Most of all you will feel comfortable and confident with the thought of your little one been looked after by the nursery.

The Stanhope nursery and all its staff are great. Our daughter has been there for the last two years and we have always been impressed by the care for the children, the educational programme and the general friendliness. Fabrizia always looks forward to going to nursery in the morning (I hope that is not a reflection on us!) and has a good time. Thanks for everything.

I really do miss the wonderful food and tossing my own pancake. I also miss not-any-work-all-day and I thought the rooms were well organised and suitable. I just do wish that we did cooking at school.

Our daughter attended Stanhope House Day Nursery full-time from the age of 3 months until she started school and our son, who is 5 months old, is about to start at Stanhope. We have nothing but praise for the nursery and the staff. We felt that everyone there knew and understood our daughter, making the nursery experience an entirely positive one, as close to an extension of the home and family as it is possible to be. Whenever we needed advice as new parents the staff were full of helpful suggestions and they were also willing to take into account our own preferences and ideas. The friends that our daughter made there have remained firm friends who all speak fondly of the nursery and the staff and love to go back for visits. It is so difficult to leave your child with anyone when returning to work but everyone at Stanhope completely understands this and helps to make the transition as smooth and easy as it could ever be. Thank you to all the staff and especially Philippa who keeps the nursery running like clockwork!
